Quick Notes to Teachers

Some Ideas to Try... Things to Know... Stuff to Remember...

Quick Notes...

  • In Resources is an extensive report on the proven links between in-school physical activity and academic performance. This unique document is a powerful argument for the inclusion of vigorous activity programs at school. Send it to friends, give it to your Principal and other school administrators, and to your school's Parent leaders.

  • Research unrelated to GZRA indicates that vigorous activities 20-30 minutes before tests improve concentration and scores. Try it with GZRA and let us know.

  • Our download technology allows us to send custom "shout-outs" to schools new to GZRA. Nominate your class and we'll see when we can fit it in. (Available in 2006.)

  • Have your Kids learn the “cheers” used in the programs: “Get up. Get out. Get Game and Go!” and “30 + 5 Keeps My Body Alive!” Then, lead them when cued by the Class Leader screen.

  • GoZonkers Radio Adventures
  • Kids love to send us their stuff... pictures, poems, stories, doodles, story questions, health questions, comments, etc. Encourage it, then help them send it to us.

  • Check “What’s New” every week. We’re adding new Resources regularly for your use. Plus, if you’ve sent us something, maybe it will show up somewhere on this site.

  • At this time we are producing a new 4-part Story every couple of weeks. So, keep checking back for the latest Stories available. If you've used them all before new ones are ready, repeat the earlier ones. Teachers tell us their Kids enjoy having the same programs 3 and 4 times.

  • The initial sequence of Stories is designed to teach Kids the exercises, the cues, etc. Thus, the first 5 Stories must be used in sequence. Afterwards, use any of them in any order.

Teachers who pilot GZRA get FREE use of it for a year
